Smart Integration – Ready for Any Scenario

The O2A signal device can sense its environment using basic sensor inputs and respond autonomously to changing conditions—by triggering alarms or controlling connected devices. Its well-designed interface not only supports external sensors but also allows multiple O2A units to be daisy-chained. This creates intelligent device clusters where each unit can share status information and respond collaboratively. What starts as a simple siren becomes a smart, distributed solution—capable of adapting to a wide range of field applications, with or without a centralized control system.

Secure Power Supply in Case of Power Loss

The integrated energy storage ensures that the signal device remains operational even during power interruptions. Two storage options are available: a replaceable battery with a typical lifespan of 3 to 5 years, capable of powering multiple alert cycles, or a built-in supercapacitor (Supercap) with a service life of over 12 years, designed for single alert cycles lasting 4 to 6 minutes per charge. Charging times can be flexibly configured based on the available input current, allowing seamless adaptation to various power supply conditions.

Logging, Maintenance & Dynamic Configuration

Both installers and system operators can reconfigure the device and access logs or protocol data even after initial deployment. Communication with the O2A unit is possible through multiple interfaces. When multiple devices are connected in a daisy-chain, all configuration and data access can be handled centrally through a single unit. Robust security protocols ensure protection against unauthorized access. In addition, devices within a network can dynamically coordinate and adjust their configurations in real time—such as automatically synchronizing volume levels, light intensity, or LED colors based on the situation.

Red LEDs

Thanks to the special optically clear cover over the LEDs, wide LED light beam angle is achieved.

RGBW Lighting

The LEDs allow light of any color and brightness. In white, they achieve up to 415 lumens.

Modules extend the integration capabilities of O2A devices for many applications.

NFC-Interface

Each O2A-Siren can be configured quickly and easily via the wireless connection.

Access and security

Thanks to a specially developed protocol, communication offers excellent security.

Enhanced connectivity with the optional WiFi module

With the optional WiFi module, the O2A signal device can be seamlessly integrated into local networks—enabling remote control, data access, and integration into existing smart home and automation platforms such as Home Assistant. The module is powered by a high-performance ESP32-S3 chip and supports ESPHome as well as other specialized firmware versions depending on application needs. Communication is handled via the TCP/IP protocol with SSL/TLS encryption to ensure secure data transmission. Direct integration with smart home hubs is supported through socket connections, and a password-protected Swagger interface provides live API documentation and testing capabilities—ideal for dynamic environments. With the WiFi module, the O2A becomes a highly versatile and network-ready component, perfectly suited for modern distributed system architectures.
